In August of 2018, Thunberg took decisive action. She sat in a calm way in front of the Swedish Parliament, and erected a 'School Strike For Climate' sign and walked out on schools. The reason she felt it was important in order to get the attention of politicians to take action to stop the global warming. Swedish media caught Thunbergs' strike, and the message spread. In the following days, a plethora of students from around the world joined her #FridaysforFuture protests, skipping class on Fridays in protest of climate changes. Climate activists across the planet took part in this Global Strike for Climate. The event was hugely successful. There were more than 1.6 million participants from 125 nations took part.

Nia Peeples is born Virenia Gwendolyn. She is an American performer and a singer. She is known for her character of Pam Fields (in the drama Pretty Little Liars) and Nicole Chapman (on the show Fame).
