Anne Phung Nguyen

Hi, I'm Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in stunning Orange County California with my wonderful fianc JP as well as my extremely happy Dad Henry. My Instagram account @annephung is where the majority of my followers are. I blog about my day-to-day life, both the good and the bad. When I was in 1990, I came to America along with my brother and parents after I reached one-and-half. If it wasn't for my parents' love for perseverance and sacrifice it is likely that I would not be here sharing my journey. Knowing that I could have a brighter future, I was determined to be successful and do my parents proud. My expectations were that my future would unfold a certain way: graduate from university, be offered an executive position, get married and start the family. I figured that was the definition of success. However, Life had other plans that were to demonstrate what success meant. The money and the status that I was working in was not what I wanted to be. It was as if I wasted my entire life to earn a paycheck. In 2013, I realized that my passion was fitness. In addition, I was a fan of getting involved in social activities and giving an extra helping hand to people. This took me down one of my new paths and to the world of personal training. In 2014, I founded my own company. My company is celebrating its seventh birthday in 2021. There are very few Asian women have a job in this field. I strive to be a positive influencer within the field to offer the best coaching and guidance to help people to live a more healthy and happier person by establishing the most sustainable life that meets their individual goals and needs. Additionally, I would like others to feel empowered and able to pursue their desires and be able to achieve whatever they want in their lives. My mother's passing that occurred while my career was gaining momentum, caused me to suffer one of the worst losses in my life. The battle she fought for eight years with the disease has come to an end and she lies in Heaven. She will always remain in my thoughts and my mind. The lessons of life can often be hid from our eyes yet they can prove very valuable. There are many ways that my mother's passing changed me. I truly believe she gave me another opportunity to live through her demise. When she passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was her time to start her new journey and allow me to be given a second chance of living the most happy, joyful and fulfilling life. As I approach my 30s I am able to feel the joy of living and being alive. I'm no longer feeling as if you're just an ordinary person anymore. My life is shared with you in hopes that you'll be able to connect with my stories and thoughts to help you realize that you're not in the dark in your journey, and for you to realize that you're able of anything you set your mind to that true love exists that therapy is normal and essential that a healthy lifestyle is your greatest form of wealth. Because death is the last thing you have to live I would like you to have fun in the rest of your days and live without regrets.
