Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to earn a 10. competing in the Olympics. Bela Karrolyi is an Romanian gymnastics instructor who later became the coach for Comaneci and first became aware of Comaneci at the age of six. Her first competition was at the junior national championships in 1969 and finished 13th. She won the competition in the year 1970. In her first international competition in 1972 a pre-Olympic junior competition for communist-bloc nations she won three gold medals and in 1973 and 1974 she became an all-around junior champion. Her debut as a Senior in 1975 she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion, winning four gold medals and one silver. She was the first woman to ever successfully complete a backwards double salto while dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The journey of Carol Wayne to the world of entertainment started as a teenager. Together with her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined touring entertainment programs called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6, 1942, at Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her career in the entertainment business in her teens. In her early years Carol was an ice figure skater for traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. The show featured stage-moving ice-skating performances.
