Gerina-Piller
Born on March 29th, 1985, in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza is her birthname. Gerina Stevenson's parents are Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. She is American and is of Mexican American heritage. Her desire to play sports started as a young child. Gerina was a golfer for the first time at the age of fifteen. Gerina went to Goddard High School for her high school education. While she was in high school, she took home the New Mexico state golf tournament. She was also a volleyball player and competed at the national level. She was a student at the University of Texas in 2003. In the final seasons of her professional career, she was the winner of every event where she played. In her college career, she was awarded Conference USA individual champion player of the year, and was named UTEP Female Athlete Of The Year.
